Learn About Our Programs
Helping Those in Need
SWEEAC, Inc. provides emergency assistance for individuals and families in metro-Atlanta facing food crisis. Through various partnerships with other non-profit agencies and the City of Atlanta, we are able to work together to identify families in need.
To this end, our objective is to provide food distribution services to metro-Atlanta areas in critical need via anti-hunger activities which include a food pantry which is stocked with purchases made from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This food comes from the Food Bank itself, donations made by local grocery stores and convenient stores. Although we are no longer accepting walk-in clients, it has not hindered the amount of people we are able to reach.
Senior Food Box Program
Change Starts Here
Through a special program provided by The Atlanta Community Food Bank, seniors over 60 years of age and who meet eligibility requirements are provided monthly food boxes to help fight hunger and promote healthy eating choices.
Make a Difference in the Community
Supplies such as books, book bags, notebooks, crayons, paper, pens and pencils are furnished to school age children during our annual Back To School Event. We help the less-fortunate with our back to school program. If you’re looking to play a part, find out more about how to donate or volunteer.
